This is another one of my favorite quotes and got me thinking about how true it is to this day and also applies to these Artificial Intelligence advancements. So, after trying out a lot of these AI tools for the past 8 months and here are some of my observations:
- You are going to get a lot of junk/spam emails after you signup for these tools 😊
- You are going to go down this rabbit hole really deep and really fast.
- You will be able to do things faster but not exactly what you are looking for.
- You are going to be able to do a lot of things without additional resources. However, we will need to know/learn how to use these AI tools correctly which will eat up a lot of your hours to try to keep up with the rapid changes so you will need more resources.
- You are going to need to know or have a solid idea of what the results you need should look like so you can adjust and correct what AI gives you. Tweaking your prompts.
- One of my concerns is that these AI tools will be used as a copy and paste tool which will bring down the quality of work to a parity where it’s hard to stand out unless you tweak the results to be different. So refer to number 5 above.
- There are some who will gravitate towards the copy and paste from AI to increase revenue over quality and accuracy.
- Data in, data out. Fundamentally, AI is a newer variation of a search tool. When Internet Search started and indexed the internet things got a lot better for finding things quickly. However, over time, the first page is now mostly ads. There is a lot of inaccurate information on the internet now. This will happen with AI as well.
- SEO optimization currently controls the results in favor of those who invest money in it. The same will happen with AI.
- The backend of AI is the same data as the internet. We all know not all of it is good. Clean data. Depending on how these AI companies categorize their data could influence results. Not to mention all the ‘enhancements’ going forward.
