A new mixer for your kitchen

Some people typically offer advice and solutions based on their experience, expertise, and skill set. However, there is one factor that is sometimes overlooked that causes things to be skewed against the receiver because the advice and answers are usually projected onto them. This suggests that the advice giver is imparting things that they desire to hear or do rather than what the person receiving genuinely needs.

For example, if you ask for a recommendation for the best headphones, I will begin by asking you a series of questions about the type of music you listen to, where you listen to it most of the time, what instruments you like the sound of, and where you get your music (Stream, CD, Vinyl, etc.). I would also consider profiling your hearing frequency range with an app. There are a couple more, but you get the picture. I’m not going to propose the most advanced headphone technology simply because It’s what I like and use. I’ll explain why I have eight headphones and what each one is used for to help us narrow down the best one for you.

This process and approach can be applied to a variety of situations, so call out the next time you need assistance deciding which vendor to work with or which product to implement and use so I can guide you through it without bias or influence.
